Memory and Mental functioning

Ever since my early 50's I had been seriously concerned about the effects of my apparent ageing. As an educator my increasing lapses of mental functioning in recall, short term memory, higher level reasoning computation and linguistic malfunctioning were dramatically affecting my confidence, self concept and professional viability. Over a three year period I had unsuccessfully tried a number of conventional and alternative therapies including requesting a brain scan for tumors and for early-onset of Alzheimer's, as well as a psychological assessment of cognitive ability. My doctor and I came to the conclusion that I was prematurely ageing and this was as good as it got and had begun my decline into senility!
Within a month, apart from a tremendous feeling of energy and vitality, my brain kicked off in a miraculous way and has continued to improve. My past acceptance of the decline had hidden the true malnutrition I was suffering. Now at 56 feel physically like I did at 30 and my mental functioning is as good as it ever was.
