Glucose
Glucose is a potent fast-energy source that can be released directly into the bloodstream. Glucose metabolism is disturbed in depression, manic-depression, anorexia and bulimia. It has been shown to enhance memory, stimulate calcium absorption, and enhance cell-cell communication.
