Myalgic Encephalitis (ME), Ambrotose and Glyconutrients

Myalgic encephalitis (ME), post viral fatigue syndrome (PVFS), fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) are thought by some people to be the same condition, but, although many of the symptoms are the same, ME, as its name suggests, affects the muscles and the brain, more than the other conditions do. Muscle symptoms include severe fatigue upon exercise; muscle pain and spasms; headaches; dizziness; influenza-like malaise; clumsiness; poor memory, concentration and balance.; Other symptoms include non-refreshing sleep, sore throats, enlarged glands, joint pains, and depression

The symptoms may vary from day to day or even through the course of a day. People with ME have 'good days' and 'bad days', although the term 'good' is often used in a relative sense. The illness almost always results in a severe reduction in a person's ability to cope with all aspects of normal daily living (ie social and sporting activities, employment, household tasks).; Relapses or exacerbations are often precipitated by infections, excessive physical or mental stress, general anaesthetics and surgical operations, and extremes of temperature

A variety of immune system abnormalities have been reported in ME patients. While no specific immunological dysfunction pattern has been recognized, the most consistent abnormality is a decreased number or activity of natural killer cells. Another consistent finding is the reduced ability of lymphocytes to respond to stimuli, in people with ME. In patients with ME, glyconutrients help the body fight off bacterial, fungal, parasitic and viral infections. Gluconutrients improve the functioning of the key immune cells, including macrophages and natural killer cells which tend to be suppressed in ME patients

People with ME often tend to be allergic and release too much histamine, and they tend to be sensitive to environmental toxins. For patients with ME glyconutrients can be helpful in mitigating symptoms by protecting the brain from the effects of histamine and toxins

For the fatigue that ME patients suffer, glyconutrients have been shown to increase endurance and so may boost stamina.

For all people not just those with myalgic encephalitis (ME), glyconutrients in Ambrotose form the basic cellular language of all cells.; Cells require adequate amounts of glyconutrients to allow cells to communicate 'correctly'. These nutrients are known to improve the immune system function, organ function and improve basic body physiology. If cells cannot communicate correctly they cannot function correctly or stay healthy. Glyconutrients in Ambrotose for cell communication are pivotal no matter what other supplements you decide to take.
