Neutrophils

Neutrophils are the phagocytes or eating cells. They are the most abundant immune cell in the blood and move in quickly and in large numbers to gobble up bacteria and dead tissue. They die in the gobbling up process and in the process they release an enzyme that dissolves cells in the immediate area, resulting in pus formation.

Glyconutrients increase the effectiveness of the neutrophils as well as the magnitude and speed with which they are mobilised.
